Livingroom Remodel and Deck

For the deck portion of this project, the Almar team freshened up with a coat of paint and repaired screening and screen doors. By removing the ceiling, we exposed the open framing inside the porch, which helped to create a more spacious atmosphere.

On the inside of the house, the homeowner wanted to finish the unfinished living room so they could spend quality family time together. So new wood flooring was installed, and the room gained additional storage and functionality with a large bank of custom built-in shelving and cabinets. Rounding out the living room remodel, the oversized brick hearth with wood burning stove was removed and replaced with a modern gas fireplace with a beautifully tiled surround and a built-in television above.
